Cookies & browser storage

Last updated 22 October 2026.

No advertising or analytics trackers

Our website code does not set advertising cookies, load tracking pixels or use third-party analytics. The decoder, converter and checklist keep temporary input in page memory. The UK MOT check requests records through our server without adding an analytics tracker.

Browser storage and links

Registration lookup links can contain a registration in the URL fragment and may remain in your browser history. Printing or saving a result creates a copy under your control. The unavailable private-order interface uses tab-specific session storage under carreport-order-v1 if an order link is opened; it is not used for advertising. Paid ordering remains disabled.

Hosting security

Cloudflare may use necessary security cookies when protecting the website, for example after a security challenge. These are separate from advertising cookies. See Cloudflare’s cookie policy and our privacy notice.

Your controls

You can clear cookies, browser storage and history in your browser. External services linked from this website have their own storage practices. We will update this notice and obtain consent where required before introducing non-essential tracking.
