Contact [email protected]. Our free website offers buyer’s guides, tools and available official UK MOT records. Paid vehicle-history reports, payments and customer accounts are not available.

What the tools establish

The Irish registration decoder explains the printed plate format; it does not establish that a car exists or identify its history. The mileage converter performs arithmetic. The checklist helps prepare for a viewing. The illustrative sample report contains fictional examples.

The separate UK MOT check displays actual records returned by DVSA, with a retrieval time. It covers available UK MOT evidence, not Irish NCT, finance, write-offs, theft, ownership or workshop service history. For an import, use its former UK registration. No returned records, an unavailable lookup or a recall response of Unknown does not establish a clean history.

Coverage and decisions

Records may be incomplete, delayed or incorrect. Recorded mileage is historical and is not a guarantee of the current odometer reading or its accuracy. The latest recorded MOT expiry is not proof of current roadworthiness. Check official status, match documents and arrange an independent inspection before buying. We cannot amend official records; raise a suspected error with the original record holder.

Fair use and attribution

Use the lookup for individual vehicle enquiries. Do not automate bulk requests, attempt to bypass limits or misuse personal information. We may limit requests to protect availability. MOT information is attributed to DVSA/DVA and supplied under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
