Live purchase terms are not published. The test workflow below is for software validation only, involves synthetic results, and cannot be used to buy or evaluate a real vehicle.
Sandbox purchase terms
Version: test-terms-v1. Product: synthetic-test-v1.
This sandbox product uses synthetic records only. It is not a real vehicle-history search and no real payment is taken in test mode.
A simulated payment does not establish any vehicle identity, history, finance position, mileage, condition or ownership. Do not rely on the test results when buying a vehicle.
After simulated payment, the order waits for payment verification and a test result. The result may be pending, unavailable or require review.
These development terms do not authorise a real purchase or limit any non-excludable consumer rights.
Before live purchases become available
The published agreement must identify the licensed product, countries and records searched, total price, expected delivery, report access period, source limitations, support, complaint handling, refunds, cancellation rights and any request for supply during a cancellation period. Business contact details and the privacy notice must also be complete.
A single consent box is not a substitute for the required information and confirmation. The final process must reflect the actual product and legal classification. Current guidance is available from the CCPC on selling digital content and services.
